Colorado Alpaca Farm
We have a small, select herd of colorful huacayas, and devote
extreme attention to careful breeding choices based on top-quality as
proven in the showrings and in the progeny. Our bloodlines include 4Peruvian
Matador, Peruvian Vengador, El Moustachio, PPeruvian Leon, Rosario, 5Peruvian
Silverado, Rose-gray Champion Avatar, Peruvian Presidio, Greystone (Canadian),
Mr. Know It All, and Peruvian Oro. A combination of Peruvian fineness
and Chilean color has been proven in the showrings across the country
to produce the finest colorful fleeces, winning often over full Peruvian
color. Our fleeces are coming out soft, colorful, and crimpy!

Winning Awards!
We have been placing well at the Colorado alpaca shows:
the Fall Festival and the Great Western Alpaca Show in Denver (a level
5 show). We are creating a "cream of the
crop" herd one fantastic breeding choice at a time. Some of the studs
we have been using are:
- Escondido's Makulu - Legacy and Caligula heritage, 5 Color
Championships in the white classes, 3 Reserve Championships and 15 Blue
ribbons! Owned by Escondido Alpacas
- Peruvian Macchiato - Full Peruvian medium brown stud, 1st Place
at AOBA Nationals two years in a row! Owned by Fiber of Life Farm.
- Avatar - Rose gray Champion with Champion gray crias on the
ground. Closed to outside breedings! Owned by Delphi Alpacas
- Adolfo - a white, full Peruvian son of Bueno with a micron
count of 21 at eight years of age, who is throwing all colors including
rose-gray. Co-owned by Medicine Wheel Alpacas and Spittin' G Alpacas
